The idea of this blog started one day while I was watching Netflix’s The Bold Type. The show is about 3 girls working for a women’s magazine. It is honestly a little weird to see The Office’s Jan inside as this wise and sensible older woman whose vision for the magazine to have articles women can relate to and be like a older sister to all their female readers. My sister gave birth to my niece about 2.5 years ago, and every now and then I wonder wonder what type of conversations we will have when she grows older. Will she ask me for relationship advice? Will she ask me what to do with money or career? I guess when I was younger I had many such questions. I remember scouring the internet for “what does it mean when he….?” Or “How to start investing…?” And the list goes on. And then I think, the internet probably wouldn’t mind having another blog providing life advice which are essentially personal opinions :)
